《惊惧骤起》简介：
米拉（琼·克劳馥 Joan Crawford 饰）是一位小有名气的编剧，刚刚完成一份非常优秀的剧本。原本男演员莱斯特（杰克·帕兰斯 Jack Palance 饰）计划出演剧本里的男一号，但是米拉对这个选角非常的不满意，因为她的反对，莱斯特很可能会失去这个千载难逢的好机会。
